What this is
basketlens reads Greek basketball box scores and the federation's published schedule, and turns them into tables, match reports and answers. It is in open beta: it is free, it changes often, and it can be wrong.
Accounts
Access is by invitation. An account belongs to one person and one club — do not share it, and tell us if you think somebody else is using it. Your club's operator can withdraw an account at any time, which ends its sessions immediately.
We can withdraw access if an account is shared, used to reach another club's data, or used to overload the service.
What your club is responsible for
Everything your club records about its players — wages, birth dates, availability, injury notes — is your club's data, entered on your club's decision. Your club is responsible for having a lawful reason to record it and for telling the people concerned. We hold and process it on your instructions.
Please do not put anything in a free-text note that the person concerned would be surprised to read.
What we do not promise
The numbers come from the federation. Where a published box score is wrong, the app shows it wrong. The data quality page lists what we can detect.
The generated text can be wrong. Match reports and answers are written by a language model from your data. The figures in them are checked against the records, but the sentences around those figures are not a substitute for watching the game or reading the table.
There is no uptime guarantee. This is a beta. We may take the service down, change it, or lose a day of it.
Nothing here is advice. Not medical, not legal, not employment advice. An availability status in this app is a note a coach typed, not a medical opinion.
Ending it
Stop using it whenever you like and ask us to delete your data. We can end access with notice, or immediately for the reasons above.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of anything this service shows. The service is provided as it is.
